What is “Wander into the Mist”?
The “mist” represents my past experiences, the paths I’ve taken, and my current interests and opportunities moving forward. Inside the mist is where I can see a bit forward, sideways, and backward. Just like traveling through misty weather, as I continue in life things behind me begin to fade while things before me start to become clear. Looking side-to-side is where I discover new interests which help guide my path forward.
Therefore, I “wander” in and through this mist each day with a passion to either do things I have not done before or get better at the things I do. Along the way, I reflect on what I’ve done and what it all means. This is my journey.
I seek to chronicle my experiences, projects, thoughts, and ideas here so others might discover ideas and become inspired — the real purpose of this site.
Read my article My Personal “lost while adventuring” Experience (1977) about how I wandered into the mist when merely 16 years old.

What is on this site?
I created the “Wander into the Mist” site to document things I’ve done, want to do and think about. Over the years (60+ of them in my lifetime), I’ve had various notebooks and journals, yet now it’s time to get things into a blog site!

You will find many topic categories here ranging from computers, simulators, games, do-it-yourself (DIY), travel, and more. I shall “wander” in different directions and topics over time, so please have fun. I’ll also explain more about myself, my experiences, and my desires as we go. I hope you enjoy browsing through my articles; may they stimulate your own ideas or inspire you in some way.
